Darrell Young delivered the good word today at Crossway Community Church in Canmore, Canada! He trains international pastors on behalf of The Simeon Trust and just returned from an international trip where he trained pastors of underground churches in China. He said that China decreed that churches must replace crosses with images of their president, and persecution is prevalent. So, please pray for our brothers and sisters in China!

He unpacked Jude 1:24—25 NLT for us, one of the most famous benedictions (“bene” meaning “good” and “diction” meaning “to speak”):

“Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.”

In short, we learned that we must not water down the gospel and that we need to worship God with Glory “The Hebrew word kabod (K-B-D) originally means “weight” or “heaviness.” We can’t come to God with watered down worship, but should worship Him with all of our might, heart, strength and soul.

Afterwards, we met a lot of great members, including some members of CrossFit Canmore, and we’re all meeting up for a session at 12:00 tomorrow. Please pray for Dan! LOL.
