Viva lá Pepa Restaurant in El Calafate, Argentina

After a trip to Brazil eleven years ago, this husband and wife team were inspired to open a creperie, a revolutionary concept in Argentina. This husband and wife team wanted to shake up the culinary scene in El Calafate—to create a movement—thus “Viva lá Pepa!” was born.

Healthy eaters, unite! Viva lá Pepa! has heard your cry and answered the call. They fuel the resistance with protein-packed salads, crepes and quiches worth fighting for.

Planning to conquer a mountain? Equip yourself with a smoked salmon and avocado salad, cheese quiche or a lamb crepe—but beware—the bread and fresh cream cheese are dangerously delectable.

Afterwards, savor the taste of victory with a sweet crepe and a chocolate cappuccino that will bring a tear to your eye. Headquarters is open from 1100—2300, because the revolution never sleeps.

Hi, we’re Dan and Emille. We met at church in NYC in 2010 and in 2011 we were married in Central Park on the bow bridge. In the last 6 years of marriage we stopped paying NYC rent, and bought a place on the edge of Hoboken, NJ, with spectacular views of the NYC skyline, which has been really fulfilling for photography enthusiasts. We have been talking about having kids for the last 6 years, but the New York lifestyle would make it difficult as our families are in Florida and Brazil. So we sold our place and furniture, left some great jobs, and friends and decided to have travel the world before we have kids. We’re cultured, but not fancy. We've been to 21 countries, and would love to visit all of them. We try to experience things like the locals as much as possible.
