Snorkeling and Dolphin Watch on The Big Island of Hawaii

A snorkel and dolphin watch was an excellent choice for our first excursion, on The Big Island of Hawaii. We were surprised to discover that Body Glove offers such adventures. Already familiar with their swim, dive, surf and apparel products, we decided to try one of their excursions, and we’re very glad that we did. Our main reasons why—the amazing people and consideration put into every detail of the experience. Polite, friendly, funny and hospitable are but a few of the crew’s traits. They deserve to have every guest on the boat singing their praises.

Starting with breakfast in port, the food exceeded our expectations. Fruit, granola, yogurt, muffins, croissants, oatmeal and coffee or tea are available, and crew members constantly circulate offering to clear your plates or to retrieve anything you need. Lunch featured grilled cheese or vegan burgers with all of the “fixin’s” including jalapeños, salad, sweet potato chips, potato salad and sodas. A cash bar and gift shop are also available just to make sure that nothing is found lacking, and much to our delight, the entire trip was non-smoking.

Biodegradable sunscreen, snorkel gear, paddle boards, and comedy were readliy available, to name a few. We were escorted from the port by a couple of dolphins, and saw countless fish while snorkeling. On the return trip, Captain Bob highlighted the chapel where John Wayne was married, premiere surf spots, caves and some Hawaiian history. Thank you, @bodyglovehawaii for an amazing memory!

Stay in touch with NY See You Later!

Hi, we’re Dan and Emille. We met at church in NYC in 2010 and in 2011 we were married in Central Park on the bow bridge. In the last 6 years of marriage we stopped paying NYC rent, and bought a place on the edge of Hoboken, NJ, with spectacular views of the NYC skyline, which has been really fulfilling for photography enthusiasts. We have been talking about having kids for the last 6 years, but the New York lifestyle would make it difficult as our families are in Florida and Brazil. So we sold our place and furniture, left some great jobs, and friends and decided to have travel the world before we have kids. We’re cultured, but not fancy. We've been to 21 countries, and would love to visit all of them. We try to experience things like the locals as much as possible.
