“Are we in El Chaltén, Argentina, or SoHo, NYC?” was the question I presented to Emille. When you’re inside Bourbon Smokehouse Bar, you just might forget. Owner Sebastian Balfagon drew his inspiration from an eclectic mix of his favorite places and experiences. One of them is clearly New York City. He introduced happy hour—a staple in NYC—to El Chalten, with his second restaurant, B&B Burger, right next door.
We thoroughly enjoyed the braised short rib, bacon cheeseburger, local artisanal beer and handcrafted cocktail at Bourbon. Sebastian, Abigail, Alvaro and Thay are very friendly and will ensure that your fare is excellent and your evening is memorable.
Our first night in town, we happened to dine at B&B Burger. We had been without nachos since leaving the States, so when we saw it listed on their signage from the street, we were powerless to resist. Aldana, the bartender, couldn’t be more friendly, and we had a great time swapping travel stories late into the evening with her. If you enjoy burgers, nachos and happy hour in a relaxed setting, then you’ll love B&B Burger.
