Looking for the perfect venue to finish an epic day in the Argentinian Patagonia? Then leave the cooking and entertainment to the professionals at Casimiro Biguá Restaurante & Parrilla in El Calafate. Manager Celeste Palma, Chef Martìn Llanes, and Bartender Hugo Moyano pour their hearts and souls into the food, drinks and service, while Gabriel Citta and Mily Citta pour a lifetime of dancing into the entertainment.
Lentils in olive oil with warm bread were introduced along with wine & Patagonia beer, followed by entradas of a traditional Argentinian beef empanada with fresh lemons and grilled queijo with tomato and olive topping. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the entrees and entertainment arrived. Traditional steak and lamb chops with veggies, including peppers, eggplant, onions and zucchini provided excellent sustenance, while the dancers, a brother and sister duo, performed an inspiring rendition of traditional Argentinian dances with attire to match.
Photos alone cannot convey the controlled passion of this performance, so a video will soon follow. The lamb chops practically fell apart by our forks alone, and the steak… We still have dreams about that steak. Just to make sure that we wouldn’t need to eat the following day, we had the pancake with dulce de leite and local ice cream.
Therefore, we hereby bestow the “NY See You Later Best Dinner Show in El Calafate, Argentina” award to Casimiro Biguá Restaurante & Parrilla. We hope to see you later!
