Mission overview:
Rendezvous at Koloa Landing, the original port in Kauai, Hawaii, 0800 hours. Level 4 Classified Eyes Only.
During our classified mission briefings, “Will,” our dive master, reviewed operational procedures for the stealth torpedos. Moments after we geared up, we were cutting through the water like covert operatives.
First mission:
Coral reef and marine biology reconnaissance. Location: Stonehouse. Max depth: 55 to 60.’ Max time: 1 hour. Possible sightings: White Spot Damsel Fish, Penant Fish, Turtles and Octopuses. Report sightings of Barracuda operative, code name: Chernobyl. Do not engage.
Second mission:
Recon of Sheraton Caverns collapsed lava tubes with undetected exfil. Max depth: 60.’ Max time: 1 hour. Possible sightings: Green Lion Fish, Leaf Scorpion fish, Moray Eels.
Missions debriefing (declassified portion):
Down Under Scuba Operations: Excellent.
Dive Master, Code Name “Will”: Excellent.
Personal Torpedo Equipment: Exhilarating.
Reconnaissance locations: Excellent.
Visibility: 60’+.
Marine life observed: All of the above.
