The Caribbean’s best kept secrets—as far as excursion expenses go—are the beaches. If you have a tight budget, you can always ask a cab driver to take you to one of the most popular and desirable beaches on the island. Saint John, on of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a beautiful destination with some of the most popular beaches in the world, including Trunk Bay Beach.

We bargained with a cab driver to take us to a postcard worthy spot for swimming, tanning, tropical drinks and forgetting your worries. Some days, you should clear your calendar and just relax! Cheers! Of course, we walked around the expensive shops—where everyone is led to believe there are amazing deals—on the way back to the ship, grateful that we didn’t buy a watch we can’t afford.
